Seattle Torchlight Run
Go for Glory!
A new course design and perfect weather set the stage for the 2011 Seattle Torchlight Run and fifth annual RACE Charities (Seattle Chapter) ‘Go for Glory’ event. Over a dozen RACE Charities warrior runners from as far away as Dallas, TX made the trip to the Emerald City to run for Glory and be a part of a wonderful weekend, both at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Learning about new early detection programs, biomarkers, and fund raising initiatives) as well as the Saturday evening torchlight run- which began near the Space Needle and wound its race course through the streets of downtown, with tremendous views of the Puget Sound and Seattle skyline!
