Glory and her friend Becca Murfin designed the theme of the GloBand, which is “Be a Warrior” and “Fight for Life”. The Cancer bracelet is camo colored, symbolizing the warrior’s spirit and battle that cancer patients must endure on a daily basis. Glory loved the Warrior theme because she knew the difference between a soldier and a warrior is that a soldier will retreat when commanded, but a warrior never retreats and fights to the very end, even in the face of death.
The GloBand “glows” in the dark as a 24-7 reminder of a cancer patient’s non-stop battle. “Glo” was also Glory’s nick-name and symbolic of her year long battle against cancer.
To wear a “Warrior” GloBand, symbolizes strength, determined commitment, life, love and remembrance, and gives the encouraging message to a loved one, family member or friend who is fighting a deadly decease, that they are not alone in their fight.
GloBands cost $6 each and can be ordered in men’s size or women’s/child’s size. All GloBand proceeds go directly to what Glory’s wish was- a gift or service to cancer patients which would “brighten up” their day and “glow” with a certain radiance.
