Wichita River Run
Go for Glory!
Many thanks to the nearly 50 RACE runners who turned out in Wichita to wear the RACE Charities camo and participate in the Wichita River Run. We look forward to making the River Run an annual event and hope for even more participants next year!
It was a glorious morning and the weather was perfect for joining over 2,000 other runners in downtown Wichita, Kansas for the Wichita River Run; which took place over Mother’s Day weekend. The event marked RACE Charities’ first officially sanctioned running event in Kansas and with the success of this year’s turn out, we expect to continue the tradition every year for Riverfest and make it an annual event which RACE Charities participants can look forward to participating in!
Also special thanks to the Murfin family for hosting the post-race breakfast and get-together in front of the IMA building in downtown. It was a wonderful time to gather RACE participants and talk about upcoming RACE events and new ideas for next year’s Wichita Run.
