Seattle Torchlight Run

Go for Glory!

The Seattle Torchlight Run took place in late July and five runners turned out to run the 5K event in downtown Seattle. The course was an up-and-back which began at Qwest Field and winded up the Alaskan Way Viaduct between the Puget Sound and downtown skyline.

While in Seattle, Jeromy Gensch was asked to tell “Glory’s Story” on the air at the WARM 106.9 radio station as a part of Seattle’s “Catch a Cure for Cancer” radiothon. The interview was broadcast throughout the city on September 12th and soon will be available to be streamed and listened to from this webpage. The airing gave RACE Charities the chance to get Glory’s Story out there to the Seattle surrounding area and set the stage for more events to take place in the Pacific Northwest in 2008.
