Jake Kraft is a Warrior and on a
mission to Fight For Life!

Welcome! On behalf of RACECharities.org, I’m running in a “virtual relay” to raise money for early detection of colon cancer research at Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center in Seattle, and I sincerely thank you if you’re willing and able to donate. I’m involved in RACE because my high school friend Glory died from colon cancer at age 23. If her cancer was known earlier, she would almost certainly be alive today. Her beautiful heart lives on through her wish for RACE Charities to fund cancer research at Fred Hutch that saves lives. She said if just one life can be saved, it will all be worth it. To see short videos that describe RACE (and that will surely touch your heart), please go to the RACE Charities home page.

RACE Summary

RACE Charities is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of cancer through early detection. RACE organizes events around the country in efforts to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of cancer, especially for young people with a family history of cancer. RACE was founded by Glory Gensch (pictured on top of Page) who passed away from colon cancer at the age of 23. Glory's legacy and mission lives on through RACE Charities, whose fundraising campaign is focused on raising money to donate directly to nationally renowned early detection research institutes throughout the United States. Glory, as well as all RACE volunteers and members, believe that if our efforts can save just one life, then it is well worth the sacrifice!
