Wichita Colon Cancer 5k
‘Get Your Rear In Gear’ Event
Over a dozen runners, including Fred Hutchinson’s own Dr. William Grady, joined our group during Memorial Day weekend at the 2013 Wichita Get Your Rear In Gear 5K. RACE Charities partnered with a wonderful colon cancer organization ‘Get Your Rear In Gear’ www.getyourrearingear.com to promote colon cancer awareness throughout Central Kansas. RACE Charities was proud to break out the Neon Glow gear and Camo shirts to represent our organization in full force.
Dr. Grady addressed the crowd before the run and spoke about the importance of colon cancer screening and early detection. RACE Charities is very grateful for Dr. Grady’s presence at the event as well as all of our Kansas supporters and looks forward to more Wichita area events in the future!
