Phoenix Rock N Roll Half Marathon

Go for Glory!

Over 15 RACE Charities supporters showed up from as far away as New York City and Wisconsin to “wear the camo” and endure through the 13.1 mile 1st annual Go For Glory event! RACE’s own Ryan O’Donnell ran the full 26.2 mile event and posted a record best 3 hours 31 minutes.  It was a tremendous day as RACE Charities made its presence known among 37,000 other runners in the Phoenix Rock N Roll Marathon held on January 13th, 2008.  NBC’s local channel 12 news crew interviewed John Gensch and aired his comments on the 10 O’clock news.  John had the opportunity to share Glory’s story and promote RACE’s cause to everyone who watched.

Again, many thanks to all those who came out in support of RACE Charities and Glory’s legacy and we all look forward to more RACE Charities events in the near future!
